This course is separated into three modules of learning:
Module One: Introduction to General Health and SafetyIn this module, we will be looking at the history of health and safety and why it is important in an educational setting, whether that be a school or nursery providing care and support for children.
Module Two: Where do we Start with Health and Safety
In this module, we will be looking at three key areas and what they involve:
- Where should we start with health and safety?
- Key definitions and terminology
- A brief introduction to Health and Safety law
Module Three: Health and Safety in the Real World
In this module, we will be looking at three key areas and what they involve:
- Hazard spotting and how we can all play a part
- Educational visits and fundraising activities
- Health and safety myths
